Cross process e-6 slide film in c-41 chems

After looking at the works of Eggleston and Leiter I have fallen in love with colour film photography again. I have used it before and was not too impressed by it, due to the off colours probably because I hand processed the film at college and the chems were not replaced often so results were not amazing. I shot one roll of E-6 which I processed in C-41 chems and the colours came out very surreal. I found these negatives and re-scanned them and Looking at the colour I was amazed.
