'KEEP YOUR COINS I WANT CHANGE'

I was inspired by public protest events ever since the EDL visited my home town, the social aspect of people standing together for a common purpose can be quite empowering. What also takes my interest in these environments is the things people bring with them, some create music whilst on the go, some hold signs and shout, some are there out of curiosity. Some people actually have important information to be heard, this event was one of my first big public-social events which I was focused on capturing something visually interesting. My favourite image taken here and one of my favourite images taken during college is the one where a diverse group are creating music in the streets of Whitehall.
